KIDS YOGA CLUB AND STRESS MANAGEMENT

Two new activities for kids are coming Monday, April 3, 10, 17, and 24 at Zion Lutheran Church. Both classes are being offered by Zion Member Kiera Mitchell, Certified

Nutrition Coach and Yoga Instructor, and Amy Nesbihal, a Certified Holistic Health Coach. Yoga Club is $40 per child for four sessions, and takes place from 4:15-5:15pm upstairs in Faith Hall.  A 10% discount is available for siblings. All are welcome from grades 3-5. Children live in a busy, high pressure world between school, competitive sports and their social environment.  Yoga can help children learn coping skills and strategies to help them navigate through their day with more focus and success through relaxation, breathing and inner fulfillment.

If you are looking for a class that will help your middle school child gain more focus and be less worried with stress and anxiety, they have also put together a Stress Management Class for middle school aged children. In the classes they will be covering nutrition, yoga, time management, sleep management, anxiety, breathing techniques to calm the mind and how to gain more focus with less stress throughout the day. Stress Management takes place from 6 to 7pm upstairs in Faith Hall. The cost is $125 per child for four sessions.  A 10% discount is available for siblings. Space is limited so please contact Kiera for registration, or any questions at [email protected].
