Nursery Care

Nursery care will now be available for both the 8:00 and 9:15 services.  We hope this makes it easier for parents of Sunday School and young children to join us for services each week. Please look to the weekly Happenings emails for more information to come.  

Rally Day is coming!

Sunday, September 10th is Rally Day, when we start our new two-service schedule at 8:00 am and 9:15 am, and Sunday school will begin with Sunday school children  being dismissed to class after participating in the opening in the Sanctuary. Hymn Sing 2

BUILDING USE MEETING

A “Building Use” meeting has been scheduled on August 28th and August 29th from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM for all outside and ministry groups who would like to use the facilities here at Zion for the 2017-2018 calendar year. Blessed are Those That Die in the Lord

The Reverend Charles Mingle died Tuesday, August 1 at the age of 91. Reverend Mingle was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church of South Plainfield and regularly served as supply pastor around the Synod.  

Corn Roast

ZION’S PRESERVATION PLAN GRANT APPROVED!

On July 26th, upon recommendation from the Morris County Historic Preservation Trust Fund, the Morris County Freeholders voted to fully fund Zion’s 2017 Historic Preservation Trust Fund grant application for $27,760 for Zion’s Preservation Plan. This grant will fund 80% of the cost of the plan, and enable Zion to access grant funds for projects…

Gospel Music this Thursday

VBS 2.0 Thank-You

We thank those who joined us last Wednesday for VBS 2.0.  Folks of all ages from Zion and some of our building partners enjoyed working work on some of our favorite mission projects.  Our new project – “Kindness Rocks”, was a huge hit!  Look for more information on our special rocks in upcoming Happenings.
