Shoebox Packing Party A Success

68 adorable and unique shoeboxes filled with gifts for children around the world were delivered to the Operation

Christmas Child collection point at the Times Square Church in Mt. Arlington, where we have donated our boxes for several years now. An astounding total of 13,614 shoeboxes were collected from Morris, Warren and Sussex counties in New Jersey alone!!!!!

Thanks so much to Zion folks and building partners who wrapped, packed, donated, and crafted for the boxes. Special thanks to Jeanne

Howell for her wraps, Sue Koeppen, Ellen Blaine, Marcia Davidson and Marie Strebel for their support, Malainie, Emalyn and Sophia Stoma and Pastor Dan for being the clean-up crew, the Staada family for bringing in the troops (literally), Renee and Faith Feldman and Pam Moore for their special donations, Girl Scout Troop 96762 and Kids4Kindness for donating toys and special crafts, and all the Sunday Schoolers who crafted special things for the

boxes during the past year and donated boxes they packed on their own. This is truly a project that reaches out beyond the walls of Zion and the borders of our local,

state and national home to others around the world in need! 68 children will experience the “Good News and Great Joy” of Jesus Christ because of all of you!
