ZION’S PRESERVATION PLAN GRANT APPROVED!

Categories: Church,Parish Life

On July 26th, upon recommendation from the Morris County Historic Preservation Trust Fund, the Morris County Freeholders voted to fully fund Zion’s 2017 Historic Preservation Trust Fund grant application for $27,760 for Zion’s Preservation Plan. This grant will fund 80% of the cost of the plan, and enable Zion to access grant funds for projects and priorities identified in the plan for years to come.  We’d like to thank the Historic Preservation Committee, and most especially Renee Feldman, whose dedication and perseverance has paid off in a big way for Zion. Efforts are ongoing to raise the funds to cover Zion’s 20% share of the plan.  Stay tuned to happenings and the LVL Newsletters for more information on next steps in the process of preparing the plan and how you can help.  If you have questions, please contact Renee Feldman at [email protected]
